Online Videos & Practice
Khan Academy: Khan Academy is an online platform that has ALL of our 6th grade content available in both video explanations and practice questions. Your child set up a login during class and knows how to access this site. Simply search a topic, and get started! Math Antics: These are great videos that are very helpful for students. I use these often in class. Again, search the topic in google and start watching. ex: search "math antics dividing decimals". IXL is a great website for extra student practice. Search by topic, or practice by grade level. The link below will take you to 6th grade practice. Edgenuity: This is a site that is paid for by the district. It gives the student a benchmark assessment and then creates a learning path for them. The students need to access this through the CMS Student Portal. They are very familiar with this site and should be able to access it through the button below. Spectrum Math has a great workbook for 6th grade standards. This would be for any extra practice you would like your child to do. It also has many QR codes that link to instructional videos throughout the book. $8.01 on Amazon. |
